Naturopathy and Nutrition

Naturopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare that works to maximise your health by ensuring you are putting all the right things into your body, and fewer of the wrong things.

The philosophy of naturopathy is that your body is able to maintain health and heal itself given the right conditions and encouragement.

Pain and illness are signs that something is wrong or out of balance. A naturopath will try to resolve this at the root of the problem, rather than just treating the symptoms. Often people find that some very simple lifestyle changes can make radical differences.

A naturopath will work with you to help find optimal balance to promote, restore and maintain good health. Alongside this a naturopath will work to boost your body’s own elimination processes, allowing the body to function at its best.

What can naturopathy treat?

Naturopathy can be used to help a wide variety of conditions, as well as improving general health and well-being. Below are just some of the many things naturopathy can help with:

  • Weight loss or gain
  • Detoxing
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
  • Women’s health
  • Migraines
  • Headaches
  • Fatigue
  • Constipation
  • Skin conditions
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Infertility or preconception care
