How Acupuncture gave me relief from Hayfever.

For years, I had suffered the horrendous symptoms of Hayfever (seasonal rhinitis) which would include itchy eyes, itchy throat, sneezing, blocked nose, watery nose and tiredness. At times I would avoid going out during what most people would consider the best time of the year and would stay indoors to avoid the Hayfever misery.

I eventually sought help of an acupuncturist after years of tablets, nasal sprays and eye drops that just made me feel even drowsier, foggy headed and not being able think straight.

My acupuncturist took very detailed notes of my my current health and health history.  The treatment focused on my individual symptoms and the aim was to strengthen, balance and support my underlying constitution and treat the root of the dis-ease.

My symptoms improved immediately and the first thing I noticed was that I could breathe through my nose more easily and that I wasn’t endlessly scratching at my eyes. After a number of regular treatments my symptoms mostly cleared up with the odd occasion when I got slightly itchy eyes when I was out in the countryside.

At the risk of sounding like Victor Kiam, I was so impressed by this drug free and natural medicine that some years later I became an acupuncturist and have successfully treated other Hayfever sufferers since and enabled them to enjoy an outdoor lifestyle again.

If you would like to have a summer free of Hayfever symptoms, my advice would be to receive regular acupuncture before Hayfever season starts to affect you and the results will be far more effective.  Sneyd Park’s Acupuncturist, Alex Turner is offering £30 off when you book in for 6 weekly sessions.
