Chiropody, Foot health & Podiatry

Chiropodists and Foot health practitioners deal with the external workings of the feet. They can remove corns, hard skin, fungal infections affecting the skin and nails, and ingrown or infected toenails.

Painful feet can be caused by poorly fitting shoes, inherited conditions, long term illness, and the effects of age and arthritis. However, painful and uncomfortable feet are not something you should put up with – they are not a natural part of life or growing old!

A lot can be done, both in the short term and long term, to put the spring back into your feet and greatly improve your quality of life. Feet are an important part of our body that we constantly use but sometimes take for granted or even neglect. Therefore it is essential to keep them healthy, especially as we get older.

Regular visits to a Health & Care Professions (HCP) registered chiropodist/podiatrist can dramatically improve mobility and maintain fit, active and pain free feet and lower limbs.
